good and cheap venue

I am pretty overwhelmed. I spoke with my mother about opinions for my wedding... She criticizes me.

Please tell me where is good place to do our ceremony and reception at the same place for good price!  Any ideas would be appreciated! :)

Thank you..

So Lost Bride.

Millennium Garden/Plymouth Creek Center is nice and pretty reasonable.  The only drawback is that you have to use one of their preferred caterers

The Washington County Historic Courthouse in Stillwater is quite affordable... and you can choose all of your vendors (including any licensed caterer) and bring in your own beer and wine... which cuts your costs down considerably. It also happens to be a GORGEOUS venue.

We had our ceremony and reception at the DoubleTree Park Place in St. Louis Park. Doing everything at a hotel can be a big plus if you'll have a lot of out-of-town guests.

And I'm sorry your mom is criticizing everything. I know you didn't ask for help with that, but if she's not paying, I would try to avoid talking about the details with her.

tpender13- thank you, she is paying some for the wedding. Which is making things harder. Thank you for the support!
