Travel Agent Recomendations

Have any of you used a travel agent for your honeymoon? We are looking at Sandals in St. Lucia, but I am curious if a travel agent could help us get a better deal?

Thanks!

Re: Travel Agent Recomendations

  • I have used Sue at the Travel Connection before.  Her specialty is the Carribean and she is really helpful.  She was also able to get us better pricing than what we were finding online.

    She's out of Cranston.

  • Yes, We used a travel agent for our Aruba honeymoon. We went with someone my godparents knew in Lincoln. I think she got us a better deal than online.

  • We used Denise at World Wise Travel off a recommendation from our tux vendor. She is great! Got us great rates for our Hawaiian Honeymoon in January! I can't wait!!! She is very through and nice - her office is in Seekonk, MA.
  • I also went with a travel agent and found it was cheaper. For the price of a cruise and airfare that I found online, the travel agent also got me that same cruise, airfare, car rental, hotel, and transfers (airport to hotel, hotel to pier, pier to airport) for the same price. Plus, they can give you helpful tips on where to eat, what to do, etc. Mine recommended a company that she uses all the time for shore excursions when she goes on Hawaiian cruises to save money, rather than booking it with the cruise directly.
