I saw in the poll post that a few of you use Pintrest.  I don't know what that is and wondered if you use it:

1.  What is it?
2.  How often do you go on it?
3.  Is it some sort of communication tool?
4.  Is it primarily used with smart phones?  (I don't use a smart phone which may be why I haven't heard of it???)

    It's a website that you go on and "pin" your favorite things to boards.  They can be anything from fun baking ideas to clothing styles or wedding ideas. You can follow other people to see their favorite things, too

    I usually go on it every couple of days

    Not really a communication tool, just a site to get ideas for many different things (room decor styles, wedding centerpieces, jewelry, etc.)

    I don't go on it with my smartphone

    Like Ally said, you "pin" things you're interested in. For me it's kind of like bookmarking my favorite things, except it's MUCH easier to find them later, and they're categorized. I like to pop on for a few minutes a day, especially if I'm looking for a specific recipe or DIY project I want to make.

    1.  What is it? Imagine all the pretty things you like all in one spot. That's pretty much what it is. You pin your interests and can group them into categories.

    2.  How often do you go on it? Couple times a week

    3.  Is it some sort of communication tool? I don't think so, but you can "follow" people's board

    4.  Is it primarily used with smart phones?  (I don't use a smart phone which may be why I haven't heard of it???) No, if I could figure out a way to have it on my blackberry that may be dangerous ;0)

    To add more detail...

    You have multiple boards. Like let's say I'm looking at sewing projects. I have a board for Sewing. Any interesting tutorials or patterns I see that I like, I "pin" to the Sewing board. Then, when I go to the Sewing board, I see all the pretty things I "pinned" which are essentially picture links to the tutorial/pattern/whatever.

    I was going on it like every day, but now I'm not...I was on it yesterday for the first time in a few weeks. It's addicting.

    If either of you (Lisa & Monica) or anyone else wants an account, clicking the "send me an invite" button on the website will take for.ever.  If you PM me your e-mail, I can send you an automatic invite.  Anyone with Pinterest can send invites...I just don't want to volunteer anyone else for it without asking them first.

    non pinterest members can click on the red pinterest buttons in peoples sigs and go check out their page of boards.  It might help you "get" what it is.
