Kristi Treadwell?

My day of coordinator is Rachel Stepanov of Buon Affaré Events who found out she'll be having triplets and have to go on bed rest before our wedding, so she is turning our wedding over to Kristi Treadwell, formerly of Barbara's Brides, or offering us a refund. Just curious if anyone else has used Kristi or had any feedback on her. TIA!

    :) I posted this the other day. Same deal with us. I trust Rachel, but my biggest concern is whether I am going to like Kristi's personality. Basically she will be catering to us, and to have someone that is not as friendly or organized as Rachel would be devastating. Ugh.. what do you think?

    Thanks BB! It is nice to put a face with a name.  I trust that Rachel wouldn't just give our weddings to just anyone . . . I'm sure Kristi is probably as good as Rachel, but we shall see. We're meeting with Rachel & Kristi next week to do a 'meet & greet' and discuss the wedding.  I just realized today that we only hav 75 days left!! It make me panic a little even though I'm sure things will be fine . . .

    Hi ladies, since I am not promoting myself or my business I thought I could offer some information regarding Kristi Treadwell.  I know this is a scary transition for all of you who booked Rachel, but let me assure you that both Kristi and Rachel worked with me for years as my team. Rachel branched out on her own and has done a great job. Expecting triplets was definitely a surprise. Kristi has worked with me for over 3 years doing weddings on her own within Barbara's Brides. With her previoius experience as a wedding manager at the Salt Lick prior to joining my team, made her a perfect fit for my team. I have very high expectations of my assistants. She is wonderful, very sweet and very organized. All her brides within my company have sent me great comments after their weddings regarding her performance. Having her take over Rachel's company is a definite loss for me and a huge plus for all of Rachel's brides. You are in great hands. I am sure they will answer your questions at your meeting, but hang in there and know it will all work out beautifully.

    Although your comments are appreciated, as the moderator I must remain fair and maintain the rules of the Knot. Vendors are not allowed to post on these boards. In accordance to these rules, I am going to leave this up for a day, and then ban the username from posting.

    My FI & I met with Rachel & Kristi on Wednesday night.  Kristi has a great personality and seems about as OCD as I am, so I think it is a good fit. She was able to answer questions and brought pictures of her past work.  Overall I think switching it up with be fine and Rachel is there to help Kristi from afar, so no big deal in switching coordinators after all.  Just thought I'd post an update.
