Hi ladies, so today my FI and I went to two visits in Delray Beach. We are looking there since our church ceremony will let out at 2 and we want our guests to be entertained but not on our dime. First place we went, I felt so out of reach. We are paying for everything and this place seems out of our league. But the coordinator said she could work with me since september is a dead month. I left there dreading the next appointment. Ladies, let me tell you the relief I had meeting the next venue. They were so great that they are top contenders. But they also made me feelgreat about seeing other venues. Letthe madness begin.

    Venue hunting is exciting and nerve racking especially when you end up falling for a place and  you find about it's price tag, lol. I am sure you will find the perfect location within your budget....it is possible!!! It may take some time but you will find it! If you need any suggestions for venues let us know :)

    Oh the hunt for a venue...I remember those days! lol!! We are having our wedding at Thalatta Estate in Palmetto Bay.  But a few months ago I went to Estancia Culinaria in Homestead...Holy smokes it blew me away ans I was ready to change our venue...until I got a price quote...I'm so happy with Thalatta and it will be perfect.  As a compromise we shot our e-pics at Estancia :) You'll find something and it will be perfect.  good luck!!

    The first place had a 7k or a 10k food and drink minimum, depending on the room we chose. Our budget is 10k with dress, venue, etc. Yea, I was about to cry. They didn't even offer us anything to drink after all that walking and talking. Every friend I tell them about the second Venue is amazed how straightforward and comforting the second coordinator was. And yes they offered us water, poured us cold FIGI bottled water into wine glasses.

    There is a very beautiful venue (should be somewhere close to you) called the Spanish River Library. I'm not sure on the cost but I have heard it was affordable. I absolutely love it especially the rooftop terrace. Also, many former knotties have raved about their weddings at this location.
