I've decided to have my grandma's lace wedding dress altered for my wedding next October. It's a simple dress with a sweetheart neckline but an overlay of lace that creates a boat neck neckline (oh, and it will have some sort of short sleeve). The skirt will be altered so it's just a slim fit with no pouf. I'm getting married in a converted barn and may be having the ceremony outsdie or in the barn.
Do you think a lace dress is too summery for a late October wedding in central Ontario (Peterborough)?
