So I"m finally working the registry for me and my FI. Since we have lived together for 7 years we really don't need any house hold items. Is it inappropriate to request gift cards or visa gift cards. If not how do we request. I think it's inappropriate to put that in an invite. My mom is also urging me to do one for my personal bridal shower. Did anyone do one for their person bridal shower??? Where did you register and what did you put on it? Help!
Re: Bridal Shower Registry
Even though you have household items, you can still put new pots, new bedding, ect can never hurt. If you want mostly money or gift cards, I'd make the registry short.
FI andI just completed our registry this weekend. As far as things to register for I would definitely do towels (can never have too many), sheets, maybe some china, vases, stuff that you may have that is old and would like to replace.
[QUOTE] "your prayers and blessings for an everlasting and healthy marriage is gift enough, but if you do wish to give us more, a contribution towards our dream honeymoon would be much appreciated. For those of you choosing to bless us with monetary gifts and cards, there will be a secure and safe decorative Wedding Card Box located on the table at the reception."

</div><div>As far as the bridal shower registry, I do not think its needed. I've been to two where the bride was not registered, but I bought a gift on my own.
