    Met with a flower person this weekend. Discovering that florists are ridiculousy expensive. Even for a small number of flowers it's like $1,000! Yikes. We'll be doing more shopping around.

    So true!  There's a huge cost variance between florists.  Couldn't believe it at first.  Our flowers were about $700 total - other florists charged over $1000 - for the same kind of package.
