Question about Photographers in Raleigh, NC

Hi Everyone!

My fiance Josh and I are getting married in downtown Raleigh at a lounge/restaurant on June 2nd of 2012. We want to start looking at photographers that can do our engagement pictures (in September). I would really like to find someone that does unique photos and focuses more on candid pictures instead of having us pose all the time. I thought since we are getting married in downtown Raleigh, we would have our engagement pictures done there all around the city!

If anyone has any recommendations, please send them my way!

    InContrast Images!  They photographed our e-session and wedding.  My hubby and I love Elisa and Tres!  Check out our e-session - we had our shoot in downtown Raleigh! :)

    I can't say enough great things about Nancy Ray.  She shot our engagement session last Fall downtown, and at two other locations closeby.  She is wonderful to work with and has shot one wedding we just attended and one I was in previously this Spring.  

    Here are our engagement pics, but definitely check out the latest posts on her blog.   She may have availability left for this year?

    Story Photography!! Ashley Stephenson is GREAT!! She is so creative and has very unique ideas. She did our engagement pictures and will be doing my bridal portraits and wedding day. Her and her husband own the company and they are based in Raleigh. http://storyphotographers.com/

    I'm seconding Story Photographers.  They did a fabulous job with our photos.  I'll definitely be using them again when it's time for family portraits :)

    We are getting ready to have our pictures taken by a photography Lisa Ennis.  She's out of Fuquay and does great work.  She takes all of my daughters pictures.  She's really affordable too.  I can get you more info if you'd like just PM me

    Also check out Bridget McEnaney.  I have only been in contact with her through email but she is very responsive, professional, and affordable.  I loved looking at all her candids on her website!
