Clinique Make-up

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone used Clinique make-up for their wedding day and if so, how did you like it? Thanks!

Re: Clinique Make-up

  • I'm not married yet, but I have extremely sensitive skin and I like Clinique. I'd use it for my wedding.

  • Depends on which products... Clinique has nice neutral color palettes for eyes and cheeks, great for very natural looks. Their lip colors are nice. I love the new Chubby Sticks, they're like a tinted lip balm in a big crayon like applicator.

As far as foundations, concealers and powders this line is less than ideal. Coverage and blendability is low. Doesn't photograph well.

As a makeup artist I do not have any Clinique in my kit at all, aside from a few lip colors. I think their products are fine for every day, but not quality enough for on camera. But I work in film and tv so I use products that are made for high definition. However, I do use Makeup Forever foundations and HD powders on brides and anyone who will be photographed because it gives the best result (i.e. Flawless!)

For your wedding I'd say use a higher quality product (at least for your foundation and powder) and if you want to use Clinique then keep that for your every day wear when you're not being photographed all day.

  • I used it for my engagement photos and LOVED it. It came out very soft and natural in photos.
  • would def. use. im using it for my wedding, also have sensitve skin..
  • I use clinique for my every day light foundation.  I think it's great, but used MAC for my wedding day because they have better coverage
