Seamstress/Alterations?

So I ordered my dress from David's Bridal and will be getting it soon, but I've heard that they're overpriced as far as alterations are concerned. Does anyone know of anywhere I can go that does quality alterations on wedding dresses for cheaper than DB? I live in downtown St Paul and am getting married in St. Cloud.

    I plan on taking mine to Amazing Alterations in Anoka. I've heard nothing but great things about Brenda :-)

    What DB charges for alterations is absolutely ridiculous, they were wanting to charge me $200 just for a hem! Re-donkulous.

    I am also using Brend with Amazing Alterations. :) She has been amazing to work with so far and has pretty good prices. She is doing all of my dress alterations and is even making my veil usinglace from my moms wedding dress to trim the end. :)

    I had my first fitting with Brenda at Amazing Alterations a few weeks ago and she and her shop are fabulous! I find her prices to be totally reasonable. My charges so far are a little over $150 for her to reconstruct the bodice, adjust the bottom of the dress so it matches up with the bodice, adjust the strap, and add a small hoop skirt to the dress. My experience with her has been so fun - can't wait for my next fitting!!
