candles

Hi, I am looking at a location that will not allow open flames has anyone used the flameless candle in a votive before and if so does it look cheesey?

I don't think they look cheesy but it also depends on how you are going to use them.  If they are just going to be used on a table without being placed in anything...they'll look a little cheesy and plain.  If you have votive holders or lanterns to put them in, I think they'll work out just fine.

I used them at my wedding, but I put them in frosted glass votive holders so you couldn't really see the plasticness. They looked great.

In fact, I will be selling them (candles and holders) in the next week or so, if you're interested send me a PM. I have 144 cnadles & holders.

I just used plain flameless candles and white/frosted glass containers, along with dark purple table runners & small centerpieces in purple, hot pink & lime green.
