engagement prop ideas?!

I'm getting engagement pictures taken this sunday, and my photographer told me to think of any props to use.  I was unaware people used props, but then again I'm not very creative.  Any ideas for props to bring....weather permitting we will be outside.

    They probably mean books, a dog, etc. Anything you guys like to do together, like hobbies and interests to make the photos more personal. Some people even do a themed shoot like having a picnic or wearing clothes from a different era.

    I'm going to get/make a few things for my FI and I engagement session:

    Wooden "&" sign to hold between us
    Wooden sign with our wedding date on it
    Wooden sign that says Love
    Our two dogs (along with future MOL to help with them : ) )
    Ohio State Jersies
    Sunglasses

    we used an '&' sign, cupcakes, a picnic blanket, some popcorn and two little hedgehog figurines.

    We printed out our date on card stock, (day month and year large on different pages) and held them in some of the pictures. It should make for a cute, casual save the date postcard!

    We also brought jersies for some of the pictures. I'm OSU, he's Michigan (gross, I know...) so it made for some fun pictures!
