Wedding Woes

Darn...darn...darn.

My aunt and sis are going home this Friday for Mardi Gras, but I have too much work to finish. Plus, I had to take a ton of days off in Jan.

They're going to bring me back a king cake, so that does make me feel better.

Bummer for no trip to Mardi Gras, but YAY for king cake!

My parents are bringing me a king cake when they come next week. I am really pretty damn excited. I'm so tired of seeing all of my hometown friends talking about Mardi Gras and not being able to do any mardi gras stuff.

Yes, I brought one to work one year, and they didn't seem to enjoy it as much as I did. Boo on them.

Send one to me...I'll be sure to appreciate it :)

I did that last year.  I brought one to work.  Decimated within 2 hours.  Good thing I bought an extra one for us at home.

That's a big fat bummer.  I'm also still a little freaked that Mard Gras is NEXT WEEK.

I've never had king cake, but hear fabulous things about it.  Our local grocery store is advertising.  I just wonder if BFE Ohio can actually compare.

NOLA - I printed out the recipe you sent me, and now I don't know where it went. Can you send it to me via FB, please. :)

You should add it to the WW Cooking site.  That thing is dying from lack of love anyway.
