WHo has done/are doing

Candy buffet for the wedding reception? DO you like this idea as being the favor or why would you go against this idea? Any thoughts would help me out :)

I go back and forth about them... I think it depends on the type of candy and the type of crowd you're having.

On the one hand, I think they are better suited for a birthday party and most weddings already have dessert tables, so the candy would be overkill.

But, as a favor idea, I think a candy buffet is better than some stupid coasters or koozies with the bride and groom's name.

If you do one, make sure you have decent candy instead of nothing but gummy things and really hard candies that the older folks wouldn't be able to eat.

Yeah, exactly.  Do you have any other ideas floating around for favors or is the candy buffet your only idea so far?

We did a candy buffet and it went over so well!

We did have a viennese hour too but the dessert was for during the night.  The candy buffet was our favor to guests and we provided bags so the candy could be brought home to enjoy.

Everyone raved about it!  It was such a good idea for a favor because most favors are a waste and no one even takes them home.  With the candy buffet, everyone was able to choose whatever types of candy they liked (including some sugar free candies).

I'm not a DIY type of person and barely anything I did for the wedding was DIY.  This was my one DIY project and I was so proud with how it turned out.
