I'm going to go with yarmulkes.com because I have found through my research that they have the lowest prices.  Hopefully, they have good customer service too.  I will keep everyone posted.

Check with whatever vendors you are considering.  Each manufacturer has its own rules as to turnaround - especially when the height of wedding season is on - and there is also the potential for having to pay for a rush job if you wait too long.  While some can do it fairly quickly without it being a rush order, others may not.

Also, as it relates to the ketubah - you have to allow enough time to get the proof from the company, have your rabbi review it and make any changes on your end, send the edits/revisions (if any) back and wait for the new copy, etc., etc.  I'd order your ketubah at least 3-4 months before your wedding, if not earlier.

For our kippot, I ordered from Mazeltops.com about 5 1/2 weeks before my wedding and it was done on time, got the kippot super fast (within a week after order was finalized), with no rush charges.  For our ketubah, I ordered from MPArtworks about 3 months ahead of time - but I made sure awhile back what the time frame for ordering would be.  The edits were done super fast and after the final revisions were sent, I got my ketubah within a week.

Sorry, no experience with your etsy vendor - see if you can find anything on Google or ask for references if etsy doesn't have any reviews.  I didn't use yarmulkes.com for kippot or ketubah, but did get my benchers and they were done super quick (within 3 1/2 weeks of my wedding for 100 copies) and came out really nice - though at times, communication was a bit slow.

    GL.

I recently ordered from mazeltops.com. I received the kippah clips; but not the kippah yet. It has been about 2 weeks and it was only for an order of 24...

As for the ketubah, the rabbi needs to proof it with the maes and information written in. My rabbi asked for 6 weeks to do this so i requested a copy now.

we ordered through there too!  WE just got ours and it had cresed while shipping. So the owner is sending us another one at no cost!  We get to keep this one.  I would recommend them to anyone!

I am in the process of placing an order with Jennifer Raichmann on etsy.  I really loved her designs and they were reasonably priced.  I'm getting married at the end of September.  I'm thinking that will be plenty of time.  She seems very organized and thorough and was responsive to e-mails -- I hope she will do a great job!

I've just sent her a convo. I love the idea of supporting an independent artist.
    thanks, ee773!
