Hi March Brides -

Today we ordered the Save the Dates. How exciting! Glad i can finally check that off the list. Up next is to work on gifts for the bridal party.

What have you recently accomplished or whats up next on your to-do lists?

Yay! Congrats on ordering the save the dates! Personally I couldn't wait to get ours in and start addressing them, so have fun with it!

All but one of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses this weekend, so that was the biggest check for me! I decided to go with short chiffon dresses and the girls were able to pick whichever style they liked best and felt most comfortable in, and they all picked a different one! I'm really excited to see them all together!

FI and I also just started looking at wedding bands because we happened to park near a jeweler when we went to dinner Saturday. We both picked rings out and it happens to be a really good sale right now so we might actually go back and purchase them this week!

NOTE: The store manager at the jewelry store told us that now is when all of the jewelers start marking things up before the holidays so unless you catch a good sale now, prices will likely keep going up until after December. She said we should allow 3 months for bands to come in, so that means we'd be buying them during the most expensive time. I realize she was trying to sell us the bands, but I know that this is true about them marking it up before the holiday, so I just wanted to share that with my fellow March brides!

Next on our list is securing a transportation vendor. That is really the only vendor we have left to get a contract with so its all starting to come together!

Sounds good! I'm letting my BMs pick their owns dresses too, as long as it in chiffon (I love that material). I'm going with Bill Levkoff, he has some great choices.

um.. we are going to pay off my fi's wedding ring soon. we have a food tasting & i have a make-up trial coming up next month. also needing to get some more decorations.

We are almost done getting stuff for the centerpieces. It's been a bit of a pain because the things we are using are seasonal items (they're considered "Christmas picks") so we've been going from store to store picking up as many as we can! I'm excited though, they are going to look awesome!

BM dresses should be ordered pretty soon. I had originally told them that I wanted a certain color and that they all kind of go together (like all silk dresses vs. different fabrics), but they could pick whatever they wanted. 2 of my BMs pulled a dress I hadn't thought of and we all ended up loving it! I had my sister try it on later and she liked it too. So now we're just waiting for them to go in for measurements. I know they're all trying to lose weight so they're waiting as long as they can, haha.

Umm other than that we're trying to decide on a ceremony site

I know, I know it's late for that haha. My mom recently offered to pay the difference between the price at our reception venue and the price somewhere else (within reason of course). So now we're scrambling trying to think of places. I wish she would have told me this before!

We have the reception venue, church and honeymoon booked (expcept flights). The dress, tiara and veil are purchased (Thanks Mom)!! I think next will be the photographer/DJ....and possibly invites, I'm doing DIY invites.

Im doing DIY invites too, i think it will be fun and a great way to add my personal touch on a budget.

We havent booked the honeymoon just yet. I think that is one of our next big things.

Totally know that feeling. I am TERRIBLE at making decisions so when I went shopping with my mom, sister, and aunt, they were questioning everything. Have you decided on the flowers? What kind of veil do you want? Is this stuff good for the RB pillow? I DON'T KNOW!!! Haha. It would help if my FI put a little more effort in but he just doesn't really have a strong opinion on the smaller details. I think now that things really NEED to get done I'm going to push him a little more to help me out!

It is so bad. I started making a list of all the things that need to be done in exact detail (for example my favors are bird houses, so I have to finish the touch up painting, pain the bottoms, glue the twine, and make the ribbons and glue them on) and I realized HOW much work I have to do. Totally understand! That's how my FI is too. I want his input because it's his wedding too obviously, but everything is either fine or he comes up with some totally random and weird idea, haha. Would be nice if our FIs could understand a little more!

This would be great especially when I get upset about something and he has no clue what is going on and he doesn't understand "why I am so upset".
