So my FI is not much taller than me so flats are the shoe choice.. but I have been looking at ballerina flats and they just have no pizzazz...  I would really love to dress them up or something so they seem formal as we are having a black tie wedding.. any ideas???

    You can also look on Etsy for ideas to dress them up.  I'm doing ballet flats as well for the same reason (and for comfort) and I'm going to be adding lace and beading to them and to the flower girl ones as well.  There are some on my Pinterest board that inspired me, but I haven't started them yet:

    My daughter got flats but also needed some pizazz - my mom gave her some clip-on earrings with pearl clusters that used to belong to my grandma.  Totally dressed up the shoes - and - something old!

    the shoe clip idea is one thought,  but for a shower i had a shoe custom painted... it was only $35 and they will do just what you like.  I asked for peacock feather theme and they did one on the side of the shoe and one on the heel.   If you contact them they can send you pics of samples, but you do what you like....  tell them colors to use, ect.   it is a store in williamsville ny called Dyed to Match.  they have a web site you can send them a email to get more info.   I live near to them but they can have things shipped if you need.     I JUST LOVE MY SHOES   i plan on having something done on my wedding shoe too!
