How many guests do you plan on having and why did you pick that number?

We are having 60 people. We chose to have 60 because we want an intimate wedding with just our closest family members and friends. We didn't want to have anyone there that we didn't know.

Our guest list is at about 160. 100 of them are just my family, about 30 are FI's family, & the rest are our friends. We cut family off at first cousins, I'm super close with my mom's side & I couldn't get married with all of my first cousins on that side there so that's how we drew the line. FI isn't as close to his family as I am plus his is significantly smaller.

Around 100.

My mom's side of the family is rather big (she has 8 brothers, most of them are married and have at least 2 kids), and both sides of FI's family are pretty small. Like PP, we don't want people there that we don't know and can't say how they're connected to us. My parents originally wanted to invite a few extended family members that I've never even met, but once the whole budget thing came up- they let up on inviting those people :-P

I can't see our guest list changing much unless our friends' relationships with S/Os end and provided my cousin has a successful 2nd pregnancy.

our guest list is at 300 right now

our venue can hold 400 and we have the budget for it. that number also includes plus ones for many of our friends, but most of them don't have SO's right now... I know it's over year away and I'm sure the list will shrink, but this is the most we'll invite. we both come from big families and we have so many friends that we'd love to invite.

Mine's around 300 too! I have such a large family- the numbers added up rather quickly. Hoping the actual number is around 265-275 though.

The numbers do add up quickly! We're inviting around 150-160. My fiance's family is huge- his dad is one of 14! My family isn't as large, but I grew up away from most of my family, so I grew very close to a number of family friends.

Our guest list is currently around 150, and I doubt it will move much beyond that number. Chances are all of those invited will not show up, but I'm okay with that, so maybe between 125-150.

We are planning on have 75 to 80 but cant seem to get that number as of now we have about 50ish that's including plus 1 and kids...

yeah i'm hoping that we get down to 250. Not so much because of the money aspect of paying for all those people, but that is a lot of people to try to spend time with during the reception. we are also having a huge wedding party, 8 on both sides plus 3 ushers, 3 flower girls and reader etc...

Many of my 10th graders that I teach are also asking for an invite haha. I of course wont be inviting them, but if they got lucky, i'd hit 400 pretty quick haha

We are estimating about 200 guests will attend. We both have big families (both of our moms have 12 sibs!) and will be inviting guests to bring a +1.

Right now we are looking at about 65 invited, with about 10 having the plus one options (the rest's SO's are already included in the 65) we want it to be close friends and family

Right now we are about 125. That is mainly made up of my FI's family as he is very close with all his cousins and theres like a bunch of them lol. After seeing some of the other guest counts here I'm starting to feel better about mine! lol! Hoping though that we can be at an even 100, I seriously doubt it...

We want to invite up to 200 guests but we're worried that the list might go above that! My family is pretty big, and we're starting to realize it more and more as we approach the 200 mark...we'll see!

We are at 80 an I'd rather keep it that way ... It's primarily family with handful of friends an I will not be giving them plus ones as we are all same circle of friends an everyone knows each other.

We are at about 95. I have already cut the list back, we originally were at about 120, but my Nonna decided not to invitre her friends (thankfully) and we eliminated a lot of +1s.

We're looking at 200. We both have big families. We had to cut off somewhere...so we decided no children and 3rd/4th cousins. Mom, FI and I attended a venue tasting and someone asked Mom..how many guesrs...she said "200 PLUS"! LOL. She is so excited...she wants to invite everyone (all smiles)
