MOH Dress!!!!

My sister is my moh and we finally found the dress that she wants to wear. the thing is, Davids Bridal were we found the dress is going to discontinue it once it sells out! It's so frustrating bc they will not give me any information! The lady that I talked too online said that we should order dresses 6 months out. well that would mean December but they can't guarantee that the dress will be there then. I don't know what to do bc this is the second time this has happened. And I think that buying the dress now is a little early. What would you guys do?

    If you both love it that much I would order it now. It can always be altered but once it's gone it can't be ordered after that. Good luck!

    I actually just had my bridesmaids buy their dresses a week ago because they were in the J. Crew clearance section, and once they were gone they weren't coming back.  I think if it's the perfect dress, then just get it now!  I already have my wedding dress hanging up at home, and I honestly feel more relived to have it early instead of worrying that it will come in and something will be wrong with it.

    Yeah usually they say to order 5 months before the wedding, but if it's something she likes then why not buy it now?

    Order it now! My MOH and BM ordered in July because they wanted to shop together and my BM lives in rural California. Its early but they were both ok with it.

    we have both the moh and bridesmaids dresses picked out. I think the reason I wanted to wait was bc I wanted all the dresses to be purchased at the same time. And that can't happen until at least Thanksgiving bc my fi's sister is in Ireland for school until then. I talked with my sister last night and she is going to talk to the David's Bridal in her area to figure something out.

    Just a thought, but you may have your FI's sister just get her measurements taken over there. Then you can go to DB and figure out her sizing through them. (If that is why you are waiting until she gets back) This is what I will have to do as on of my BM is in Turkey until the month before the wedding.
