Registering on Amazon.com?

Has anyone ever registered on Amazon.com?  Good? Bad? Ugly?  Just what experiences people have had.

Re: Registering on Amazon.com?

  • I just registered there. So I am curious as well.
  • I am in a boycott against Amazon, also being called Nambla-zon. Due to their selling books which promote pedophilia (how to molest children and get away with it) as a lifestyle choice.

With quotes from the author such as "True pedophiles love children and would never hurt them. Penetration is out. You can't do that with a child, but kissing and fondling I don't think is that big of a problem," he said.
described it as "my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certian [sic] rules for these adults to follow.

"I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter [sic] sentences should they ever be caught," he said.

Although one book has been removed, there are still several others for sale. You can check out Facebook for more information.

Just saying you might consider their corporate policies before registering there.
  • My FI and I have been talking about registering at Amazon but haven't made a firm decision just yet.  We still have some time but that is definitely the way we are leaning.
  • We also are considering registering on Amazon.com.  However, my fiancee's concern was duplicate purchases. The ordinary wishlist automatically shows ALL items, purchased or not, and you have to click on a tab to see what has not been purchased.

HarveyT, I saw that you didn't have an issue with duplicates. Does anyone else have anything to add?
