More Guests

Last night FMIL added 3 people to the guest list. She had already invited them and she wanted to let me know they were coming. Our seating chart was done so I ended up needing to redo it. So annoyed! Come on August 18th, I am so ready to be done with wedding stuff.

People keep asking me if I'm so excited for the wedding and whatnot, and I kinda feel bad, but I'm really just not at this point-- I get where you're coming from! I'm excited for it to get here already so I can quit planning and stressing out about details and money and making sure everyone else will be happy.. I'm ready to be married and start that chapter of my life! We're almost there

ugh! I feel for you! My MIL realized on Wednesday she forgot to give me 3 familes - 6 people added to the list... so she hand delivered them yesterday and of course they are all available, the one uncle that was just added doesn't drive so they wanted to know if there would be "extra chairs"?!?!?! So that his daughter and grandson can come, I've been with my fiance' for 9.5 years and we've never heard of these people!!! That is now a whole extra table I need to make room for in my tent. Vegas is sounding better and better every day! My cut off date has passed and I still haven't heard from 52 people. Just how I wanted to spend my weekend, calling people that can't handle sending back a preaddress/ prepaid postcard. sign... END rant. :)

Guest lists and seating charts are awful.. I have people who keep flip flopping if they are coming. I wish everyone would make up their mind, and honestly I hope the missing RSVPs all decline, bc I finally have the seating chart figured out and I don't want to rework it again!!

I feel your pain! I have about 30 people yet to hear back from and I hope they are all NOs because I'm at a very comfortable number and I would like to keep it that way LOL.

This... I have one couple (my boss) who keeps flip flopping and every time he changes, I have to redo the whole seating chart! At this point I'm kinda hoping he can't get the time off. Evil, I know.

<div>I know the feeling! My BM called this week to say that her younger brother and sister are coming, but they didn't realize they were included on her parents' invitation. So I moved around the seating chart to accommodate them. Then I still have one friend on the fence because of work. Honestly, if anyone else gets added on at this point, they are going to have to sit wherever the heck I find room for them. According to our venue, our capacity for doing tables of 10 is 200, but our capacity for doing tables of 9 (which I would prefer so people aren't as crowded) is 170, and we are very close to that number. So hopefully no more surprise guests!</div>
