Alrighty gals - I wanted to do a mailbox cardbox, so I went to Home Depot and bought an $8 mailbox and FI and I spraypainted it ivory. Now I'm trying to figure out how I should decorate it. I'd love your honest opinions - my feelings won't be hurt if you say "tacky!". Okay, here it is currently (the flowers are taped on, not glued, so it's totally a prototype. Also, we have a fall wedding, with a "woodsy elegant" theme. I'm thinking this may be too "spring-y". TIA, everyone!
I think it's way adoreable! Although, to me, it does seem "spring-y", like you said. I think it's the bright pink. If woodsy elegant is your theme, what about adding some of those thin wood-like vine things (I have no clue what they're called) around it?
You saw my comments on our club board! I was also thinking wrapping with kris-cross ribbons in your colors could be fun or if you wanted to get more intense you could break the glass you used for those super cute cake stands and glue that on in chunks - seems very Martha Stewart to me

I like it a lot! I also like the idea of the ribbon in your wedding colors. I have been looking every where for some kind of a card box (thats not super fancy and $150) but I never even thought of this.
