    We use to work at Steak n Shake together and I thought he was lazy and did not like him, but once i gave him a chance he was amazing!

    we met when I was 17 (seven years ago) on rankme.ca, the Canadian version of hotornot.com. They had local forums and a bunch of us would go out for wings on Wednesdays. I hate telling that story because it sounds so shallow but when I saw "a website" they think either a dating website or a gaming website.

    Facebook! At first I was so emabaressed to tell my family how we met b/c it's kinda unconventional but my one friend assured me that now a days so many people meet their loves online.  Glad to see I'm not the only on here!

    If it makes you guys feel any better We had to make up a story for the disapproving family memebers.

    KendallR10-Really? Why did they disapprove of online dating? There's nothing wrong with it as long as you (not you but the people on it) are going about it in a smart way.

    It's so interesting to see how many of us all met our FI's online! 

    I loved reading these stories because it's so interesting to see the different ways we all met our FI's!

    Yeah. Its mostly my dad and the older family members. Its all cause of the horrible things they hear that happen to women who find guys online. IE. craigs list killer

    Mat and I met a long time ago at a birthday party when I was 15 and he was 17... we flirted but nothing came of it.... then about 3 and 1/2 years ago, I was hanging out at a friend's house  and we went over to one of her neighbor's house real quick and ...it was him! We exchanged information, he called the next day and the rest is history!
