New to site Hello:-)

Hi ladies,

I am pretty new to the site, (with posting anyway) havent really been involved in the discussions, just reading what everyone has to say!

Question for you all. I live in the Mechanicsburg area but have not really found any venues that I love. What I love is Landis Valley. My FI family resides in the Gettysburg area. Do any of you think that is a huge truck for a wedding (even tho we live about the same distance and are prepared for it). I ask because my FMIL had made a comment that it may be inconvienence her family. (ps. my family will be traveling no matter what - they live in NE PA and out of state). Please let me know your thoughts! :-) thanks!!

    Welcome!  Have you checked out the Lodge at Blue Ridge Summit.  It's about 30-40 minutes from Gettysburg and very nice.

    Welcome!!  Also check out Liberty Forge in Mechanicsburg.  One of my friends is getting married there and has had great things to say about it!

    My best friend had her wedding at Landis Valley and it was absolutely gorgeous! Outside ceremony in the courtyard and then in the barn for the reception. It was really pretty!

    You might want to start a new post with her username so she knows you sent her a PM.  Most times, people don't read old posts.

    I'd write a post like this:
    Subject: **shutterbug""

    You've got a PM.
