Bars in Newport

Hi ladies!  Does anyone know what time bars in Newport close?  Also, we are looking for a place for people to go out after our rehearsal dinner and after the wedding.  The rehearsal dinner is at the Tennis Hall of Fame, but most guests will be staying at the Hyatt.  Can anyone recommend any fun bars (with an outdoor patio preferably) where we can all go out?  We have a pretty fun/wild crowd so something with dancing would be an extra bonus.  Thanks!

Last call is 12:45.  Everyone out of the bar by 1:30, but some bars throw everyone out before that.

Dancing in Newport--you basically have 4 options:

•The Landing-Very cool, busy and has an outdoor covered area that overlooks the harbor.
•The Studio-a 3rd floor dance club next to Newport Blues that overlooks downtown & the harbor in the distance.
•On the Rocks @ 180 on Broadway: A restaurant basement turned dance club, complete with a fish tank & stripper pole.
•The Rhino Bar-Another basement turned dance club.

I personally have a problem with drinking and dancing underground.  I hate it actually, so I'd go with either The Landing or The Studio if it was my party!

Hey!  This is a similar post from a few weeks back that may help:

If you want outdoors, Island Bride is right on with The Landing, Dockside  is your other good option for dancing, both get pretty crazy.  H20, The Pier, West Deck, O'Briens Pier 49 all are outdoor spots as well, not really the dancing scene, more outdoor bars.  Bars close at 2 on popular nights, earlier during the week.

Good luck and have a blast!
