Problem Skin?

We are 6 months away from our wedding, and my battle with adult acne seems to have gotten worse!  I'm so frustrated.  I have battled acne since I hit puberty.  I really thought I would grow out of it....but I didn't (I just turned 29 last month!!).  The biggest problem with my skin is not only is it acne prone big time (I'm not talking about white and black heads....I'm talking cystic acne on my neck, chest, arms and back!), but it's also very sensitive and allergic to benzoyl peroxide and salasylic (sp?) acid (found this out when I tried Proactive...both the regular and gentle formulas!  The dermatologist confirmed it.).  Oy!!  So, I logged into Mario Badescu's website, did the free skin care consultation, and ordered the products that were recommended for my skin.  I received the shipment this morning, so I have my fingers crossed that this will help me get my skin to a good, healthy state.  I already use the Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion and I love it.  It does help clear up the cystic acne, without hurting my skin....but I am hoping that with the rest of the products and using them daily, it will make my skin much healthier, glowing, etc. and help the breakouts clear up quicker and stay cleared up.

Do any of you battle this same problem?  Have you ever used this brand?

I also went on Accutane in high school, and now (about 10 years later) it has worn off and my acne is returning. I started taking twice daily topical antibiotics and it helps alot, along with my daily cleanser & lotion of cetaphil. In addition to all that the acne I am experiencing is like OP's- the cystic acne, just tiny bumps under the skin that don't always surface. I started having  Extractions done every two months and my skin is loving it. The extraction itself is somewhat painful & must be done carefully by a professional to ensure no scaring, but my favorite part is the microdermabraison-  that pulls out all the blackheads before they become the cystic acne. Ask you dermatlogist about it.
