I searched with no hits. Rix lounge anyone?

Has anyone had a wedding or know of someone that has had their wedding at the rix lounge. I've checked into this place and I think I am almost completely in love with this place... a few things have me hesitant but I was looking for real people who have had real experience with this venue.

Have you called them?  Because it's at a Disney hotel on Disney property and as I understand it, to have any wedding on Disney property, you have to go through the Disney weddings dept.  However, if they are not owned by Disney but leased, maybe it is different. I would ask them for references because since they are so new, I doubt many weddings have been held there.

Very cool venue.. only been there once but never ate there. My fiance went there once and said he paid like $8 for nachos! Maybe you can negotiate since they are fairly new in the wedding scene and they aren't owned by Disney so you'd need to talk to someone there directly. Let us know how it goes!

Yes they are mangaed by another company ...not disney...the prices are very reasonable.... the only down side is that to have a seated dinner the private room only holds about 65 people...so it would have to be a fairly small reception dinner... SWTBLISS...yes the venue is awesome....very different...wont be the traditional reception...but it is extremely budget friendly....and since we are paying for it ourselves with our situation its perfect....I'm just really wanting to speak with the girl that had her wedding there recently...because i am a little iffy on a few things.....do you think it would be tacky to ask the vendor to have her contact me if possible?????
