DJ Recommendations Needed

We are getting married next October, but starting to book some of the main things.

Anyone have some DJ recommendations - we are looking for someone who is fun and who will make the night fun for our guests, but will also stick to the music we have selected for the night.  Also, reasonably priced.  Thank you in advance!   Cool

    We booked K-Fult Productions! He was the Dj at a friends wedding this past summer and my FI and I absolutely loved him! We was so fun and kept the dance floor full all night! And he has great prices! :)

    We booked Midwest Sound who is really popular on the boards! You tell them what you are looking for in a dj and they assign you one that meets your criteria. They've won the MN Best of Weddings and have been super helpful with all of the questions I have had so far :)

    Another Midwest Sound vote.  They did my wedding and my sister's as well and both DJs were fantastic.

    Ditto the vote for Midwest Sound. Full disclosure -- I used to work for them and still know a lot of people there. But I do know that they work to give you the reception that YOU want, and pair you with a DJ that they think will fit your crowd best.

    We used Neon Express and they did a really good job. The DJ did a great job using the music we asked for and was a great sport when he didn't have a song that was requested-- he actually let my MOH plug her phone into the sound board so that she could youtube the song we wanted. They are super cheap, too. I think we got our wedding and reception music for $300.

    we used instant request and they did a great job.  They also have a combo back avaiable with a jazz trio, which we took advantage of.  The jazz trio played during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then it switched to DJ.

    Another Midwest Sound vote, They did our wedding last month, and were fantastic! Also our guests are still talking about the uplighting they did. The DJ stuck to our playlist, and even my grandma got on the dance floor during LMFAO- party rock anthem.

    I'm having a friend DJ our wedding! He works for stclouddj.com. I've seen all four of them in action at some point and they're all great! Coop is hilarious and Gimli (our DJ!) is just awesome. They will probably work with you on pricing. I know Aaron (Gimli) did, but I've also known him for a few years and he's DJed our sorority formals. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

    I booked Bellagala. They had the right price range for me and they have a unlimited package so I don't have to worry about adding additional time later or the cost going up. I booked Kris - it cost a little more to choose your DJ but I think it's worth it because I get to talk to him right away.  He's been AMAZING. I have seen him DJ my friends wedding. He was fun, super organized, and even helped the staff at the venue.
