Not in Bayonne or Rutherford- but I highly recommend Hollywood Bridal in Kenilworth (used for my BMs) or La Belle Bridal in Jersey City (used for my gown). Both also inlcude alterations in the gown prices. Good luck!

Also not in Bayonne or Rutherford...Exquisite Bride in Millburn (where I got my dress) or Park Avenue Brials in Verona (where my mother and my girls got theirs)! Both fabulous!!!

The only one I know of in Bayonne is Alura's. My friend said she had a good experience there, but I've read a ton of negative reviews online so I didn't visit there.

Ditto SMW about La Belle in JC ... I've read good reviews about them. I didn't personally look there either.

I got mine at Park Avenue Bridal in Verona (maybe 30 minutes from Bayonne) and I liked the shopping experience a lot, although in retrospect I might've gone to a more local seamstress for alterations. Partly because of price, and also because it can be a real biitch to get to Verona from the Bayonne area ... my fitting appointments were almost always on a weeknight and driving in the Rt. 280 traffic made me want to put my head through a wall. (This store is also good if you want larger sample sizes than a size 8 or so.)

I got mine in Paramus at Bijou. Went to tons of places and just couldn't find the dress. Some reviews on Bijou are iffy, like uppity and snotty, which I def didn't want and was afraid of, but I gave it a shot. They had by the far the biggest selection that I saw with price ranging from $500 and up. The girl that helped me was very nice, but it is a big place and I think some of the girls are a bit snotty, but overall so far haven't had a bad experience. If it's a weekend it's hard to get a wide variety of apt times. My Mom came with me to see my dres for the first time, and she saw a MOB dress but they were really pains about her trying it on becaus she didn't have an apt, but I guess that's with most places.

I did go to Hollywood bridal and LOVED their service there, I wish they had the dress I got because I would have gone there just for their service.

Two places I really liked was Tina's Bridal in Totowa and House of Brides in Denville. I got my gown from the latter. East West Bridals in Secaucus wasn't bad...

In Morris County, Lingerie & Bridal By Lisa on Rte 46 in Parsippany.  Lisa is a fabulous fitter, has a beautiful collection of gowns and truly wants her brides to be happy.  You'll have a wonderful experience with Lisa.
