DOC recommendations

I'm looking for someone to do the very basics on the day of the wedding - mostly to help turn my ceremony space into the dance space while we have dinner in a tent. Some I've looked at charge $1,250 or more for day-of services. Do you have any recommendations? Wasn't a former Knottie trying to start a planning business? TIA.

    Couture Bridal offers a DOC i called them last week and they gave me a price of $950  Good Luck !

    I would contact  Andria Medeiros from Infinite Events.  A couple other brides on the knot as well as myself are using her.  I love her and her rates seem reasonable.  http://www.infinite-events.net/ I hired her to do my full wedding planning.  She is so professional.  I email her all the time and call her with any questions.  She is amazing.  He has such creative ideas, too.  Things I would have never thought of but I am an accountant.  I lack creativity. lol  GL :)

    I second Andria although I have never used her service, I have met her and she is extremely personable and very professional. I am definitely going to consider her one of my top picks. She has a "event set up/prep" listed under her a la carte services.

    My second pick is the duo from Pink Orchid Weddings, I've heard tons of raves from them and they are really great to talk to on twitter. Very responsive via e-mail. They also have an a la carte custom tailored service too. POW only does Day of coordinating.

    We went with Colleen Kimmel from NE Classic Weddings for our August wedding at Linden and I just loved her- she made the week leading up to my wedding so stress free and organized, went above and beyond doing our decorating, and expertly managed our whole day- I didn't worry about one detail the day of.  I went with her off of a recommendation from Mrs. Corn on Weddingbee- you can google her review of Colleen there too.  Good luck!
