I'm a MRS!
We had a blast... The whole weekend, from Rehearsal Dinner to breakfast on Sunday was all in one place, and it was all perfect. We finished the weekend with 17 innings at Fenway, and they invited everyone to run the bases after the game! It was amazing.
Highlights of the weekend...
There was a moment at the Friday night bonfire where Husband (squee!!) and I just looked around at all of our friends and family, crowded around the bonfire, eating their s'mores, and tacos from the taco truck we hired, drinking margaritas or the keg that was included, and realized that this was actually going to go exactly as we had hoped.
The next moment was when I got to the end of the aisle, and H looked at me and told me it was the most wonderful day of his life, while crying tears of joy. My tears were flowing as well, so he reached over and wiped them away. So sweet. We ended the ceremony by walking back up the aisle with our dog.
Highlight #3 was at the end of the reception. Our last song was Sweet Caroline, and I think almost everyone was still there. They had all gathered around their tables to grab their stuff to go when the last song was announced... but as soon as it started, they came back to the dance floor. H and I were singing and dancing, and at the end of the song, we realized all of our guests had formed a circle around us and were cheering for us. Our parents joined us in the center and took a minute to thank everyone for making this the best weekend of our lives. It was just a powerful moment to know that all of those people LOVED us and our love.
