Getting in Shape

End of Winter Board Fitness Challenge! (Join us!)

Last summer we did these 3 challenges and people have expressed the desire to do them again:

Here is how the challenge is going to work:
*Pick one, two, or all of the challenges to do.
*We will start the challenge on Monday the 27 of this month.
*Prior to start, visit the website(s) for your challenge(s) and take the initial test.
*We will do a post every Thursday to discuss problems and accountability.

Important things to note:
*situps = crunches.  Don't hurt yourself. To make the crunches more effective, feel free to mix it up by adding bicycle crunches, oblique crunches and reverse crunches
*push-ups can be performed modified on knees or standard.  For more of a challenge, planks could be added between sets.
*If you have completed the challenge before and need a greater challenge, consider doubling the amounts per day and definitely throw in some more difficult moves.
*If you find the challenge too difficult, there is no shame in doing less or altering to a slower pace. Everyone has different abilities and the goal is to work towards building a healthier and stronger YOU.  The most important thing is safety.  The second most important thing is to have fun!
