Towson Area Reception on a Budget?

Hi, My fiance and I love Goucher College's Chapel, so we are looking for a nice reception place near there. Does anyone know of somewhere that would fit a $35 pp budget? We are looking for a lunch reception instead of dinner if that helps, as well as being in March which some places consider off-season. We still want good food though! :)

    Try Peerce Landing i is close by less than 10 miles from there

    Peerce's Landing is supposed to be nice, but I think there are some rules about alcohol there, which don't always mesh with everyone. 

    How many people are you going to have?  What about Boordy Winery?  It's right down the road.

    Wow the Boordy Winery looks beautiful, but definitely accomodate roughly 100 people. :-/ I will definitely look into Peerce's, but it does seem they have a bunch of rules. It seems so overwhelming with all of the different places and details! AH!

    My FI and I are having our reception at Towson Golf and Country Club, check it out! They have price lists however, we asked if they could work with us and change the pricing and they did! So check it out, its gorgeous there :)

    Check out The sheraton right there next to Goucher! We were going to go there and it was only $20 something pp for what we were going to do. we decided to go else where cuz we didnt think we would be able to afford that with where FI was working at the time. But now that he is working at Goucher! i kind of wish we had stuck with the sheraton!

    Thanks guys! We're actually meeting with the Sheraton on Saturday and I emailed Towson Golf and Country Club today, so hopefully I'll hear back from them tomorrow so we can look at both on Saturday. :)

    I will second Towson Golf & Country Club!
    Our wedding was there on May 29th and we LOVED it! Everything was great and Trish was amazing the day of. I would recommend TG&CC over and over again. The food was great, people wanted seconds, and the prices were in our budget. PM me if you have any other questions or anything.

    Hey!  We're also getting married at Goucher in March.  We should share decorating ideas (I have none yet, btw :).

    We looked at the Towson Sheraton and their prices were great.  We're doing a lunch reception as well.  Although we liked the Sheraton, I wasn't sold on using a hotel.  So, we ended up going with the Cloisters.  The venue fee was high, but we were able to get a great deal from Hasslingers/Golden Clipper Catering for a custom menu that will be perfect for us.

    Hey willandkelly just saw your post, but are you the 3/19 wedding there at 11 am? Haha we are doing the 19th and when I called Goucher a while ago they said there was already a wedding at Goucher at 11, so we are doing 4 pm. We really could share decorating ideas!
