So its 2 weeks before our wedding and we are  stuck trying to find a different church to get married in because our church failed to inform us that their street fair/carnival was being held on same weeked as our wedding. this was a HUGE mistake on their end. 
We are SO upset because we had booked the Church over a year ago and none of this information was revealed to us. This street fair will have rides, music, food that is being placed right in front of the church. ughh :( 
This causes a HUGE inconvenience because there will be limited parking to us, you will probably here all the comotion from inside the church, and when you walk out of the church the food will be right there. How inconsiderate of them :(

    Oh my gosh that's awful.  Can you get married at your reception site and have a Church wedding later?  What do they suggest you do?

    They are not being reasonable at all. They wont even guarantee us reserved parking they said they would know this comin weekend ughh This was a huge error on their Part. My fiancé ad his parts went driving around all day today trying to find another church. We are SO upset. The priest that is marrying us, he was coming from outside Church) not the priests that belong to the church that did this to us has called a few churches and they are having a picnic that day. You hve no idea how frustrating this is for us :( we had this date booked over a yea ago. If it were a small street fair or something like that it wouldn't be that big of a deal but this is a legit carnival with bands, rides, games, and the food set up right in front of the church. For now I will keep lookig for churches I have literally spent my whole day in search :(

    The church didn't do anything to you. Church fairs take a long time to plan and they may not have had the permits in place a year ago when you booked your date. I'm sorry that it isn't turning out the way you want it to, but if you can't find a new church, I don't think the fair will take away from your day.
