Phalaenopsis Orchids in June?

Hello!

I'm planning to have my wedding during the month of June and I want my main flowers to be Phalaenopsis orchids. After doing some market research, however, their bloom months are from December to May; but then other blogs are saying that their phalaenopsis orchids have lasted all the way into July.

Will I still be able to use fresh Phalaenopsis orchids in June? Will it be pricier than it already is or about the same?

yes you can get them year round althought I have found that the cost depends on where they come from. You are using the cadillac of the orchid world.....they are not cheap,be prepared to spend upwards of $250-400 for an all phael bokay

You can get orchids all year round but yes be prepared to pay for them. (I'm having cymbidiums for my bouquet!!)

From what I hear they are available year-round but check with your local florist on what is doable! Good luck!

My wedding is in July and my bouquet is an all orchid. My florist gave me an amazing deal for $150 but others had quoted me up to $250. Take a look at my bouquet for an idea:
