Veil Help PIP

So I am having a hard time deciding what to do for my veil. Originally I wanted to get a birdcage veil. I bought one when I bought my dress (same one in the picture I will post of my dress) Once I got it I hated it.. it looked like a big bird landed on my head. I have tried to smash it with no luck. So I started looking for a new Bird Cage Veil but then I have been having 2nd thoughts about not having a traditional veil or having one at all....

So here is my dress..

Option 1 Birdcage

Option 2 traditional Veil

Or option 3- Nothing.

I voted for birdcage because I think it will look fabulous with your dress. But I am a fan of traditional veils.

I voted for traditional veil.... I think traditional when I see your dress so I think it fits more. But honestly, you cant go wrong!

I would say put the birdcage veil on again and see if you still hate it. If so, try on a few traditional veils and if you don't like them either don't wear one.

I think the more traditional veil would look better with your dress (which is beautiful!). I ended up with an all lace dress also, and had always wanted a birdcage veil, but when I tried them on together I thought that the birdcage was competing with the lace on my dress, which I wanted to be the focus. So just from my experience, I would go with a more traditional veil.

Is it that the birdcage veil isn't staying right? I have issues with mine, but my hair stylist assured me that she could pit it to get it to stay just how I want it. I know sometimes they are stiff so they kind of stick up funny, but that can usually be fixed pretty easily.

Your dress is beautiful! Personally, I like the more traditional veil better, but either would look great.

I personally like birdcage veils if any at all; I think it would look really nice and chic with your dress.

Depends on the feel you're going for; if you're just trying for a more retro/glam flair, the birdcage. If you're going for a more playful/romantic look the traditional might be the one for you.

What's your inspiration?

Really, I wanted something different and I love the look of the Birdcage. I think I am just 2nd guessing it because of the horrible one I got... and then I am thinking will I regret not doing a traditional veil?

Love your dress!

Have you tried anything on with the dress? You may find a long veil doesn't work as well or hides details. I voted for traditional because I love long veils, but a birdcage does look like it can go easily with your dress.

I tried on a traditional veil (and I didn't like it) and then I tried on the birdcage that is on the model.. loved it at the store; once I bought it I hated it! It seriously looks like a bird landed on my head. The one at the store was all broken in.

I bought a really cute rhinestone flower brooch to go in my hair which would be perfect with the birdcage. I am just second guessing.

and thanks for the compliments ladies! I LOVE my dress :)
