Bathroom Baskets

I went out at lunch today and picked up all of the supplies for my bathroom baskets.  I wasn't sure if I was going to do this, but I had a friend comment that they were a big hit at the last wedding she went to, it was a modest expense, so I figured why not!

I am making two baskets, one each for the mens/womens rooms.  They will have: body spray, q-tips, mouthwash, gum, mints, makeup remover, clear nailpolish, sewing kit, lint roller, bandaids, lotion, contact solution, pain reliever, tums, pepto, tide pen, dental floss, spray deodorant, hair spray, bobby pins, static guard, tampons, liners..I think that might be it (obviously some of these items are gender specific).  Anything big I'm forgetting?

Now I just need to pick up some nice baskets and make the little signs to accompany them.

Maybe a comb or a brush?  I think your list is pretty inclusive of anything I would expect to see in one of those baskets!  I am making those two, so thanks for the comprehensive list :)

  • I think that's a pretty comprehensive list. Maybe add emery boards and hair elastics? Throw in a few extra safety pins as well, sewing kits usually only have a couple.

I saw condoms on one list on the boards. I definitely puked in my mouth at that one.
  • wow you pretty much have everything covered I'd say! I'm doing one too for both bathrooms but just have the basics like deoderant, body spray, lotion (scented and unscented), gum, floss, mints, moist wipes, tampons, pads, tide stick and thats it!
  • oh and ibruprofin
  • I have never seen this at a wedding. I think its a great idea though if its in the budget. Sounds like you have all the bases covered.
