Favors

which favor is better???

I am having a vintage hollywood themed wedding and cant decide on a favor. I need help!!!!

I already have made glittered champagne glasses that I was going to use as both a favor and place an escort card on the glass rim. The glasses are glittered with silver and purple which are the wedding colors. But after reading some posts I dont think people will want these glasses.

I am interested in creating a popcorn bar, which would be yummy and fun. But I already paid for the glasses.

Should I use both the glasses and popcorn bar, just the glasses, or just the popcorn bar?

Re: which favor is better???

  • You're right, it's doubtful that people will take the glasses.  Favors aren't required, so don't feel you need to replace them with something else for a favor.  Just skip favors altogether.

  • Agreed, these are not a useful or edible item, so many would get left behind. I have no use for a solitary champagne glass, especially one that would get glitter all over my house (and likely be ruined the first time I wash it...)
  • Since you already paid for the champagne glasses, how about filling them with candy (maybe wrapped in tulle and tied with ribbon)?  Hershey kisses, Dove chocolate, M&M's, gourmet jelly beans, Jordan almonds, etc. ...

  • I like the popcorn bar idea, if you hadn't already bought the glasses.  We're doing a cookie bar.  If you would like to use the glasses, put candy in them.

  • I am going to use the silver glasses for my one friends bridal shower and sell the purple ones!!! Thanks for your input.
  • I really like this idea. I would definately take a party favour if it had sweet in it.
