Wedding Bio Is Done!

OK so I have been putting this off for weeks, but I finally got our wedding planning site completed!  I can't figure out how to make the site a live link in my TK signature, but here it is!

ETA: I finally figured out that "clickable link" thing!  LOL

YAY!  Cincy has a planning bio!  I love that Donny Hathaway song.  I just love Donny Hathaway.  I saw that Unsung episode.  I love that show!  I wanted to go to Costa Rica for our honeymoon too, but we couldn't afford it.  I think you're right Costa Rica has a lot of great things to do, and my FI and I are pretty adventurous too.  I love your planning bio.  Do you plan on doing any DIY projects?  If so, are you going to add that to your bio too?

Awwww, thanks Tamtam!  You know I was thinking about you when I finished it, like "I have to let Tamtam know that it's up!!"  LOL

OK so first - Unsung...that is one of my favorite shows!  Sylvester is coming on tomorrow and I can't wait to see more about him (or her? LOL!).

We looked around for a while to find an affordable way to see Costa Rica.  One that is on our top three list is Caravan Tours.  You get 8-9 days there, plus all meals, tours, hotels, etc. for $999 per person.  That is extremely inexpensive when you compare it against other travel deals there.

As far as DIY, girl I am not the crafty type.  So I don't know if I'll do any DIY at all.  The only thing I thought of is maybe doing handmade cards to ask my bridesmaids to be in the wedding.  That is probably the extent of my talent, LOL.  I have a graphic designer friend who is doing all of our paper items and that was probably the one thing I would consider DIY-ing.

<div>That is so sweet Mahoganieyes!  What a special memory - I love Fountain Square, it's so beautiful there at night.  Our guests are staying at the Westin, so they'll have a view of the square - we are staying there too...can't wait!  Do you have a planning bio?</div>

Yes, I was eagerly anticipating your planning bio because you seem to have great ideas so I can't wait to see how your wedding develops.  Yes, I was going to ask if you planned on watching Sylvester tomorrow night.  I watched a special on like VH1 about his life, he/she's a pretty interesting...um...person. LOL.  Yeah that is a pretty good rate for a trip to Costa Rica.  I'm actually not very crafty myself, but I'm going to give it a shot because I cannot afford to pay for all of those lil' odds and ins.

<div>Thanks Tam - that means a lot coming from you, b/c you have awesome ideas!  I think I may end up DIY-ing some little stuff as we get closer to the wedding.  Right now I have waaaaaay too much going on to take any projects on...but maybe later this year I'll feel up to trying something.  </div><div>
</div><div>We originally were looking at South Africa or Australia for our honeymoon, but both of those destinations were way too expensive for us so Costa Rica was our 3rd choice.  Also, we both have lots of frequent flier points with Delta, so we plan to use those - our airfare will be free!  Gotta save wherever we can! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-laughing.gif" border="0" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" /></div>

<div>Girl to be honest that is one of the things I am most stressed about.  I have an UNBELIEVABLE hair stylist here in Atlanta ... and I just don't think I'll find someone else that good in Cincinnati!  But I'm trying to stay positive...we'll see.  I have natural hair and it's thick so I can only deal w/ somebody with skills!  LOL</div>

@ Cincy - I love the song you and your FI chose. It was my first time hearing it, but it has such a loving and familiar sound that I can totally get why you both recognized it as "your song"...your wedding plans sound great. I'm stuck on the pops of color to add to my gray palette as well. Good luck with deciding. There are so many options...I've changed my mind at least six times already and am still unsure.

Awwww Congratulations on completing your planning bio.  It was nicely done and your color scheme is on point.  I just hope you be able to decide on the final color, because you have so many options.  As far as fountain square goes it is absolutely a beautiful place and you have done a great job my securing the Westin.  Your guest will have some much fun, plus it's in the summer time.

BTW: With so many Ohio Brides on here we should look at having a GTG.

<div>Thanks Eagles!  Yes, it was almost like the song was familiar and we'd heard it before - even though we hadn't.  It struck a chord inside of both of us right away.  </div><div>
</div><div>There are SO SO SO many options for the pop of color - it's crazy!  We were going with orange, then switched to cafe au lait to stay more neutral and now we're back to a big question mark????  So we'll see how it turns out - luckily I'm not planning on incorporating the accent color into many aspects of the wedding so it won't hold up my planning.  </div>
