Hey ladies!

Sorry I've been totally MIA, but I hope you've all had wonderful holidays thus far.  I've been super busy.  We traveled to 3 different states over Christmas to visit our families, had some major family drama, and now I'm back to work.

So tell me...what'd I miss???

    Oh, Tarra, feel better! I got sick on my HM, too, but it wasn't bronchitis.

    I never got to read what happened with the "shoes the predictor follow up" post. Can anyone help a gal out?

    Hi! I don't think you missed much, but then again I have missed some serious stuff - mostly due to TK's hormonal imbalance.

    (Really, TK, pop a Midol and get over it.)

    For example....Peek haz boifrann?? Did I miss an AW about this?

    Nursey, I'll have to dig up that old post.

    My Christmas was good.  FI and I hit up our families...in 3 different states...in 2 days.  So we were both exhausted.

    The family drama will probably be it's on post...when I'm ready to talk about it...cuz I'm a PW like that.

    There's a post.  The one where Yaga called me out.

    But long story short:

    I've known him since HS.  We did MUN together.  He's roommates/best friends with the guy I was sleeping with after I broke up with exFI.  So, we reconnected then, and when I had to pick up my toothbrush for Thanksgiving from the apt, we started talking.

    He took me out for my birthday when I came back to DC on the 15th.  He took me to a pretty phenomenal seafood restaurant and called ahead to make sure that they had plenty of gluten free options for me...and bought me a dozen gluten free chocolate lava cupcakes as my birthday present.  After dinner we wandered around union station and then headed back to his apartment and watched a movie.  LIke normal civilized people.

    We spent the 23rd together at a small get together at his apartment, and I spent the night.  We cuddled.  It was incredibly wonderful.  And he wouldn't let me buy my own groceries for the things that I had agreed to purchase for the party.  (I almost fought him on that one...)  He picked me up on the 22nd from wherever I was dropped off, and he dropped me off on Monday night to go back to Columbia.

    He's flying down to FL in Feb to see me, and then again in March to drive back to DC with me.

    He has a good job, reads, chews with his mouth closed, and is actually a responsible human being.  And he got me nerdy things for Christmas and apologized because he couldn't find an old book I'd been wanting.  I might be in love Shoes.  I really might.

    And he loved the quilt I made him.
