looking for a venue in Brooklyn

Hello,
As, me and my fiancée are still debating between April 7, 2012 and Sept 22, 2010 to get married, we are searching for a nice place in Brooklyn to have our reception. We are on a small budget of $8,000 for the reception. We are looking forward to having between 100-125 guests. We don't want to spend outrages amount of money, because we still have to live after the wedding.  Any help would be appreciated.

    not sure if it works within your budget or how much it is, but you should check out my moon in brooklyn.  Its in williamsburg and is a beautiful turkish restaurant.

    The other venues we looked into was:

    - rebar
    - cavo

    We ended up going with my moon which is truly spectacular.

    Other venues we considered for the rehearsal dinner were:

    - Brooklyn Brewery
    - Rivers Edge
    - Bubbys

    All of which could serve for a wedding venue as well.
