Just wanted to finally get around to dropping in and sharing my news!

Aubrey Danielle was born on June 8 at 10:45pm. She was 20 inches long and tiny...just 5lb 11oz. Heather was able to have her without having a cesarian, which was a blessing. I have spent the last 4 weeks in a dizzy state of complete infatuation...so I'm sorry I'm late in posting.
I never in a million years imagined how completely infatuated I would be with this precious little girl!

Welcome to the club!! I seriously have goosebumps just reading your post.

It is a lot like when you had your first child and never knew you could love someone like that or that that kind of relationship exists on the planet. It is just way cooler with grandkids because you aren't sitting there wondering if you will be a good mom, or how you will pay for college. I felt that way when my oldest g'son Keegan was born. He is 10 1/2 now - how did that happen!!

Great job on her swimming lessons. All 6 of mine are serious water babies just like their Mama's were. I perfectly understand exactly how you feel and am ecstatic to welcome you to the club.

Glad things went well for Heather too!
