Question...

If you could add one extra to your wedding (forget about budget, fitting in with your theme, colors, location, nothing you currently have matters or factors in)... what would it be?

    I am torn between
fireworks- which would actually work beautifully with our venue... but no way in hell would they work with our budget
late night munchie truck-  definitely totally out of place with our theme, venue, everything... but I think it would be soooo cool.  These are really big in California and FL... random food trucks that you can walk up to and get all sorts of goodies.  I saw a bride on another board who is having a taco truck roll up at about 11pm when the reception is ending and everyone is getting ready to head to the after party.  Kevin (and many of our younger guests) would totally LOVE this.

If my budget allowed my reception would have been held at The Lodge in Skaneateles. I think is so amazingly beautiful but far too expensive

I know it might sound strange, but I don't have a budget. We pay for the wedding ourselves, so I plan it my way, my parents have no say in it. Everything I wanted is already in. I do keep track of my expenses just so i know how much i spent in the end. Over the years helping my FI with his business, I've met many vendors and I know who I want to book. So, to answer you question, nothing! It's perfect the way it is ;)

Fireworks = like $2500 minimum.  I wanted to surprise Kevin with them, but he is getting a rice crispie cake instead.  Sorry hunny... love ya, but 3K for 10 min... notsomuch.  Lol.

I think I'd want to leave our reception site by boat (it's on a lake).  I saw photos of someone else doing it and it was adorable!  Won't work for us for various reasons (and the $$), but I think it's just so cool.

This is going to sound weird but if we had the money, I'd love to have the ceremony and reception at Fenway Park in Boston. FI and I are both Red Sox fans and I think that would be a great idea. (Sorry everyone) But, too much money and we'd have to transport everyone there.

I'm not going to win any friends, I know...but that's just what I'd do if I could!

Never even thought of it but THIS! lol<div>
</div><div>My original thought was to be scrap all plans and elope somewhere but DH would not agree to it. </div><div>
</div><div>If I could of added anything it would be wearing a less traditional dress. To keep family happy I went with an ivory dress but if I could go back I would of had my Kelis look alike dress in purple! </div>

If budget was not an issue, I would love to have a live punk/rock band (with good music), play at the reception.

Josh is set on moving to Boston one day so he claims to be a sox fan...but he hates baseball. He says if we move there I have to convert teams...so does that mean I cant be an SU fan either? I think not!

Fireworks definitely comes high on the list, which someone else mentioned.

One thing I've always kind of dreamed of as a kid, but kind of realized won't be happening is -- riding in or our in a Cinderella-type horse drawn carriage.  :)

We don't have a budget either, but we know what would be too much and I would never put my parents up against too much. BUT if I could...I would add fireworks in a heartbeat! I've wanted them since I was a kid for sure. I do have a question though, don't you have to be a part of Welch Allyn to have your reception at The Lodge???
