I definitely want to include the groom's parents names on the invitations. They're contributing substantially to our destination wedding and I think they'd appreciate it.
My mother, on the other hand, has no money. Not only is she not contributing financially but we're actually paying for her flight, hotel, and any other costs.
I don't want to draw attention to the fact that my mom is broke and I want her to feel comfortable and not a burden, but I do want to be appropriate here. If I add my mom's name even though she's not hosting, does that sort of decrease the specialness of adding the groom's parents?
