Really need a photography studio with mulitple photographers!

Hi!

I'm hoping some of you can help. I know a lot of you recommend single individuals for your photographers, or have experience with them but I'm looking for a larger studio with maybe a group working together.

One primarily reason is my cousin had a contract which was drafter (husband is a lawyer) and had a clause in the event of illness or accident. Well the photographer didn't show up and while they were refunded the money they received NEXT TO NO notice to find a replacement. I really don't want this to happen to us so we're looking for a studio, where if one is sick at least they could send another.

Any suggestions?? I greatly appreciate it!

...Sorry I also posted this on Boston and Rhode Island boards, I just really want some advice!...

Kjelhm is a team... and really good....
I would also talk with Diane Marshall... love her.. and she was mentored many years ago by Amy Rader and pays it forward ... I bet she will be your choice... She has and is a good friend in her field so is unlikley to let you down...
Just tell your concerns to whoever you get... I think almost all photographers hire at least a helper to come with them... Just pay a bit more to get 2 full on trained people and be sure they will send a contract stating such...

Check out Armor & Martel in Portsmouth - they have a huge team and take amazing photographs.  They'll travel within MA (including Cape) and RI.  Lots of people, the owner is available and they have packages that include teams and videography. *Highly recommend.

you ought to be in pictures is a husband/wife team with reasonable prices. their daughters also are a wedding picture duo and i think their prices are even better (sorry cannot remember their names). my SIL used you ought to be in pics and was really happy with their work.

I worked for Tom Davis in Northern Images photography for a couple of summers now. He has himself and at least one other wedding photographer. http://www.capecodweddinglife.com

Kristen Dawn is the daughter of the "You Ought to Be in Pictures" duo - she was my photographer, comes with her sister as well.  I think you're looking for recommendations on larger studios who have multiple photographers working independently though?  So that if your photographer is sick/something happens, they can just send a different photographer from their studio?  Not multiple photographers who work together at your wedding?

we met w/ Sun photography, they have multiple people that work there but we chose AMW Photos, a lovely duo team that we just clicked with. Good luck!
