LaScala Brides - Venetian Room

For those of you getting married in the Venetian Room at LaScala (the room at the front of the building with the draping), how many people are you planning on having? We are thinking that we will have around 150 people actually come, and I'm starting to worry that the room might be really tight.

Cathy assured me that there will be plenty of room and at this point we wouldn't move the reception or anything like that, I'm just starting to get a little nervous!

Re: LaScala Brides - Venetian Room

  • We are having 100. I wouldn't worry too much, Cathy semms to really know what she is doing. I don't think she would steer you in the wrong direction. I know there are several ways to set up the tables to make more room for more guests.
  • I am hoping only 150 come and I have the same worries! I think it will be fine though!
  • Cathy told me they could squeeze in 170 if they really had to. We're planning for a max of 150, hopefully more like 130.
  • Thanks for the feedback - I feel better now! We are planning on having a photobooth and I called to ask if it would even fit. Cathy said they've done it before with the 150 people and she would send me some floor plans, but I'm still waiting on that. It's just hard visualizing how all the tables will fit, especially since we booked almost a year ago and haven't been back since. Thanks again!
  • We are expecting 150 as well.  We decided to go with the larger room because of date availability but we walked through the smaller room counted it out and everything and it seemed to be just fine!  I wouldn't worry :)
