bodyrock, heard of it?

http://www.bodyrock.tv/

Have you girls ever seen this site?

WARNING: The girls they use as models are the sknniest, most muscular, biggest boobed women you'll ever see. It's half sickening, half motivating.

I actually found the beginners section and wanted to try the first vid but it's not working for me. Which is fine I'm sick anyway.

Anyone tried this?
Anyone wanna try with me (when I get over my cold)?

Re: bodyrock, heard of it?

  • Yeah.
    It's a very well-known site.
I do it when I'm snowed in (during winter, obv.) or just needing to mix things up.
Also, what kind of cold do you have? because if it's just a head cold, working out can help clear it up ;)
  • LOOOOOOVE body rock! I'm not one of those freakishly fit people.....YET! But if you commit to doing their workouts 5 days a week and eat smart you will see results so fast you won't even believe that its happening! You can still eat and feel great and these are only 12 minutes long and the most affective. I've done P90X and it doesn't even compare to the convenience and results. I see them fast which keeps me motivated. Just watch what you eat though. No matter how many hours you workout if you're putting sugars and unhealthy fats into your body, you won't reach your goals. So every day ask yourself what is more important, looking good or enjoying 5 minutes of sweets? That is by far my own biggest weakness so, if you're like me, don't keep any of it around the house or guess what? yep! you'll eat it! Good luck to everyone this is just my own advice but you're very welcome to it.

  • It's well known? Guess I've been under a rock :P

I have terrible, crippling anxiety that I battle everyday. FI and I tried to join a gym but I had a panic attack in the parking lot. I can't even get myself to go outside to work out in anyway, until we get the big giant fence I want so no one can see me. So I have to work out in the house, obv.

I'm a pretty healthy eater, I know whats good and whats bad. Recently switched all fat I ingest to coconut oil (probably my favorite thing ever) it's also the best mouisterizer I've ever used. I love it.

It is a head cold, my head feels like it's going to explode. If I feel better by this afternoon I might attempt some work out.

    Thanks girls!
  • Yup. Definitely well-known.
It gets a lot of media attention on things like the Today Show and Good Morning America, as well as on almost all workout boards/forums such as this one or TheNests, etc.

You can also find some p90x and yoga clips on youtube.

Is your anxiety related to people seeing you workout? Or is it going outdoors in general? I'm a little confused..
  • Hey everyone,

I was under the same rock because I never heard of it either!  12-minute workouts?!  So easy a cavewoman can do it?  Thank you for the information.  I will definitely look into this.

Have a great and safe holiday weekend Cool.

  • So I've heard of bodyrock, but never tried it. Is it only online through the website or is it on youtube? I want to try it, but my computer is upstairs and there's not really a lot of room to work out in the office area...

  • Never heard of it. Are the workout's easy for a bigger woman, with no energy sometimes? ;) lol. or should I stick with Zumba and get my energy level up and then try this to tighten up?
