Thanks for the well wishes! FI, cat babies, and I are OK. It was a little scary (I was shopping during one wave and all the customers were escorted out of the store until it was clear again) but our area wasn't much affected in comparison to others.
But I really feel for the Aomori area... The tremors caused a tsunami that has taken out a lot of buildings, cars, and homes around the coast.
i was thinking about her on her honeymoon when i heard the news. I know we like for brides to enjoy their honeymoon and worry about checking in when they get home....but I really hope she decides to check in!
Thanks for the concerns!! We are here in Florence, Italy right now on our honeymoon! We won't be going to Japan for another week, so hopefully everything there has settled at least. We saw the news, and were really sad about it, but luckily, H's base there was nowhere near where the disaster happened. I hope the trains are up and running when we get back so we can continue on to Kyoto!
Glad you missed it, then! That would definitely be an awful way to start off your married life. Only the north-eastern parts of Japan were majorly affected, so you should be able to get to Kyoto no problem.

I hope Kara is doing alright as well!
I think Kara is on her honeymoon but I think she said something about going to Japan so I hope she and her family are ok as well.
