How "ivory" is your ivory veil from Ginger Weddings? My dress is ivory, but the ivory veil on the website looks kind of dark? Is that just the computer screen or is it darker than a normal ivory?

    It is definitely on the darker side! I have an ivory dress(lighter ivory) and ordered the ivory veil. I have my first fitting tomorrow with my dress so I am bringing my veil with me to see if it will work. I would defintely go with the diamond white color. I will update you if you want to wait a day about how the ivory color matches my "light ivory" dress.

    Thanks, lvissers! I can definitely wait a day. My next fitting is next Saturday so I was thinking of ordering it before then, but I can't imagine it'll be an issue to wait until I hear from you whether I should go diamond white.

    I've seen lots of veil sites explain that Diamond White in fact is an ivory. Ivory is actually a darker ivory. You're probably looking for a diamond white.. order that one. :)

    bridetobe - ivory is definitely slightly on the dark side, but so is my dress. i would say the veil is a little darker than the dress, like the others said, if you are concerned, go with the diamond white.

    For some reason, when I try to add the Diamond White veil to my cart, it switches it automatically to Shimmer Off White or some nonsense. WTF? I tried 4 times. I HATE ONLINE SHOPPING.

    I got a shimmer diamond white veil.  I can take a picture of it if you want but I dont know if that will be helpful.  My dress color is "soft white" so I went with diamond white.
